Ocean Beach is just one of the several beach communities on Fire Island, New York. Ocean Beach is a short ferry ride from Bay Shore, Long Island. It's located only 45 miles from Manhattan, yet miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled between the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean you will find our beautiful pristine beach, amazing sunsets, fishing, surfing, boating and beautiful views. Our fun-loving beach town is known for its diverse year round & seasonal residents, and our worldwide day-trippers and vacationers alike.
Our Main Street offers wonderful Restaurants & Eateries, Fabulous nightlife, Retail Speciality Shops, Stores & Markets, Hotels, Inns, B&B’s, Docks & Marinas. Our Streets & Walks are lined with simple seaside cottages to architecturally beautiful homes many of which are offered as vacation rentals with our local realtors. Cars are not permitted during the summer season because everything is within walking or biking distance. Ocean Beach is the perfect place to vacation with family or friends.

Mission Statement
“To provide a forum and an effective voice for the business community and to
encourage a dynamic environment that will contribute to the universal benefit of the
Entire Ocean Beach Community.”

In the winter of 2018, after years of collaborating together a few Ocean Beach
business owners decided to join together to form what we have today as the Ocean
Beach Chamber of Commerce. We are a diverse, energetic and respected business
organization that facilitates both economic and social growth in support of our
members and the Ocean Beach community.
The Ocean Beach Chamber is a member 501c-6 not for profit organization that is
not only the VOICE of business; it is a way for our diverse membership to channel
their energies into efforts from which the entire Ocean Beach community benefits.
The united efforts of many can accomplish much more than any single business.
Membership in The Ocean Beach Chamber is an investment in the community.
Businesses are not “joining” an organization, they are “investing” in their business.
Membership in The Chamber affords us the opportunity to make the Village of
